These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Williams Method website and the purchase or booking of services from us.
By booking or purchasing a service from Williams Method, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Our services
Williams Method is an applied psychology and behavioural consultancy practice focused on identifying, examining and interpreting patterns in behaviour, perception, decision-making and interpersonal dynamics.
Our services are designed to provide structured psychological insight, behavioural tools, analytical frameworks and practical perspectives that may support greater self-understanding, reflection and more deliberate decision-making.
Our services may include:
- Individual 1:1 consultations
- Psychological pattern analysis
- Written reports and analytical work
- Corporate and team consultancy
- Packages combining one or more of these services
The precise nature, scope and deliverables of each service will be described on the relevant service page or at the point of booking.
Williams Method's services are not intended to replace medical, psychiatric, psychological or other regulated healthcare.
Unless a particular service expressly states otherwise, Williams Method does not provide medical treatment, psychiatric treatment, emergency mental-health services or clinical diagnosis or treatment.
3. Booking and payment
Appointments are booked through the Williams Method website.
A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and the appointment has been confirmed through the booking system.
We reserve the right to decline a booking where a request falls outside the scope of our services, our availability or the appropriate professional boundaries of the service.
4. Fees and payment
The applicable fee will be displayed on the relevant service page or otherwise communicated to you before purchase.
Payments made through the website are processed securely by Stripe.
Williams Method does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Payment information is entered into and processed through Stripe's payment infrastructure.
Where a package or other service has specific payment terms, these will be provided before purchase.
5. Appointments, cancellations and rescheduling
We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment.
Where an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, 50% of the applicable appointment fee will be charged.
Where an appointment is not attended and no adequate notice is provided, this will ordinarily be treated as a cancellation within the 48-hour period.
We may waive or vary the cancellation charge at our discretion where exceptional circumstances apply.
If Williams Method needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we will offer an alternative appointment or, where appropriate, a refund.
This cancellation policy does not affect any statutory cancellation rights that apply to your purchase.
6. Consumer cancellation rights
If you purchase a service online as a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation rights under applicable UK consumer law.
For many distance contracts for services, consumers have a 14-day cancellation period. There are specific rules where a consumer asks for a service to begin during that period, including rules concerning payment for services already supplied.
Where applicable, information concerning your statutory cancellation rights will be provided as part of the booking process.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes or restricts statutory consumer rights.
7. The nature and limitations of our services
Williams Method's services are intended to facilitate psychological reflection, behavioural analysis, pattern recognition, analytical insight and practical application.
Our observations, interpretations and recommendations are based on the information available to us at the time and on the particular scope of the service purchased.
Where a service involves written analysis or a report, that work will be based on the information obtained during the relevant consultation or consultations and any other information expressly provided for that purpose.
We do not guarantee that a particular personal, professional, relational or organisational outcome will result from using our services.
You remain responsible for decisions you make following a consultation, analysis, report or other service.
Where you require medical, psychiatric, psychological or other regulated healthcare, you should consult an appropriately qualified and regulated professional.
8. Confidentiality
Williams Method treats information shared by clients in connection with our services as confidential.
Information disclosed during a 1:1 consultation, and information contained in consultation notes, reports or other client records, will only be used for purposes connected with providing and administering the service to you, maintaining appropriate professional and business records, and complying with legal obligations.
We will not use confidential client information for advertising, social media, publication, promotional material or unrelated purposes.
We will not disclose confidential client information to third parties except where disclosure is required by law, necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights; or in circumstances where there is a serious and legitimate concern requiring action under applicable law.
Further information about how we collect, use, store and protect personal information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
9. Consultation records and written analysis
In order to provide continuity of service and, where applicable, prepare written reports or subsequent analysis, Williams Method may make and retain professional notes relating to consultations.
These notes may include information voluntarily provided by you during the consultation and may therefore contain personal or sensitive information.
Consultation records are treated as confidential and are subject to the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.
We will seek to record and retain information that is relevant to the service and will not intentionally create records containing unnecessary personal information.
10. Corporate and organisational services
Where Williams Method provides services to a company, team or other organisation, the organisation purchasing the service is responsible for ensuring that it has the appropriate authority to provide information to Williams Method.
Specific arrangements concerning scope, confidentiality, deliverables, fees, reporting and the use of information may be set out separately in a proposal, statement of work or other written agreement.
Where individual employees or participants are involved in a corporate or team engagement, the applicable confidentiality arrangements will be explained as appropriate before the work begins.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights in Williams Method's methodology, frameworks, written materials, reports, website content, articles, graphics, designs and other materials remain the property of Williams Method Limited or the relevant rights holder.
Materials provided to you as part of a service may be used for your own personal use or, where expressly agreed, for your organisation's internal use.

Nothing published on the website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis or emergency advice.
13. Third-party services and websites
Our services may involve third-party platforms, including payment processing, appointment scheduling and video-conferencing services.
Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the operation or availability of third-party services outside our reasonable control.
14. Website availability
We do not guarantee that the website or any particular feature will always be available or uninterrupted.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
15. Liability
Williams Method will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms affects any rights or remedies that you have as a consumer which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you, or from decisions that you independently make based on information, analysis or recommendations provided as part of our services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, website or legal requirements.
The version applicable to a service will ordinarily be the version in effect when you make your booking or purchase, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed with you.
17. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
